Our nineth day of NextGen: YouthPreneurs youth exchange

On the 9th and final day of the project, we focused on feedback, dissemination, evaluation and goodbyes.

 The day began with a final evaluation session, where we took time to reflect on our experiences, the lessons we had learned, and the personal growth we achieved throughout the project. Everyone shared valuable feedback, highlighting the most memorable moments and offering suggestions for future improvements.

We then moved on to discuss post-project dissemination, brainstorming ways to share the outcomes and the knowledge we gained with our communities. Ideas ranged from organizing workshops to creating social media campaigns to inspire others to join similar opportunities and take part in meaningful activities.

As the day came to an end, we said our heartfelt goodbyes. Gratitude was shared, warm wishes were exchanged, and we celebrated the strong friendships we had built over the course of the project. The farewell was emotional and full of fond memories, marking the conclusion of an unforgettable experience that left a lasting impact on all of us.

Our eighth day of NextGen: YouthPreneurs youth exchange

On the 8th day of the project, we dedicated our time to developing commercial advertisements for our business ideas. Working in teams, we brainstormed creative concepts and transformed them into engaging advertisements. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinking.

Before the evening activities, we came together for a reflection session to discuss our progress, share feedback, and exchange ideas on how to improve our work. These discussions helped us learn from each other and strengthen our projects. Meanwhile, the leaders met to review the day’s outcomes and plan the remaining activities, ensuring everything stayed on track.

The evening brought the much-anticipated Oscar Night! Dressed for the occasion, we celebrated everyone’s hard work and creativity with awards, laughter, and applause. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and joy as we recognized each other’s achievements. It was a glamorous and unforgettable night.

Our seventh day of NextGen: YouthPreneurs youth exchange

On the 7th day of the project, we focused on putting the finishing touches on our business plans. Collaborating closely in our teams, we refined our ideas, ensuring they were polished and ready for presentation. When the moment arrived to share our final concepts with the group, it was both exciting and rewarding. Seeing everyone’s creativity and hard work come to life was a proud moment for all of us.

Later in the day, we gathered for a reflection session to share our thoughts, discuss the challenges we faced, and celebrate the progress we had made together. It was a valuable opportunity to exchange insights and learn from one another. Meanwhile, the leaders had a meeting to evaluate the day’s activities and align on plans for the final sessions of the project.

The evening was all about relaxing and having fun. Some of us joined in a lively karaoke session, singing our favorite songs with enthusiasm, while others enjoyed board games, sharing laughter and creating more great memories.

Our sixth day of NextGen: YouthPreneurs youth exchange

On the 6th day of our project, we started the morning with an engaging city rally that took us through the heart of the local community. During the rally, we interacted with locals and conducted interviews, exploring their understanding of entrepreneurship and hearing about the dreams they would pursue if given the chance. It was an inspiring and eye-opening experience that allowed us to uncover diverse perspectives while tackling the challenges of stepping out of our comfort zones.

The evening brought a cultural night hosted by the Turkish, Polish and Czech teams. Each team showcased the richness of their traditions through music, food and stories, creating a warm  atmosphere. It was a special opportunity to connect, learn and celebrate the diversity within our group.

Earlier in the day, we also took time to reflect on our progress through a group reflection session. This allowed us to share thoughts, evaluate our experiences and gain deeper insights. Meanwhile, the team leaders met to review the project’s progress and plan for the upcoming activities.

Our fifth day of NextGen: YouthPreneurs youth exchange

 Day 5 was a highly productive and creative day for all of us. We started by reflecting on the things we genuinely enjoy and used these passions as inspiration to develop product ideas. As the saying goes, "If you do something you love, you'll never work a day in your life." This philosophy guided our brainstorming process, laying the foundation for innovative concepts we will continue refining in the coming days.

The journey of turning ideas into impactful projects has only begun. Together, we’ll focus on improving our plans, learning new skills, and perfecting our presentations to make our visions a reality.

Later in the day, we came together for a reflection session to share our insights and key takeaways. This exchange of thoughts deepened our understanding and strengthened our connections within the group. At the same time, the team leaders convened to ensure plans were aligned and everything was on track for the next steps of the mobility.

From lively board games to shared laughter, the atmosphere was filled with joy in the evening. These moments not only allowed us to unwind but also brought us closer together as a team.

Our fourth day of NextGen: YouthPreneurs youth exchange

Day 4 of the project was an exciting day filled with discovery and cultural exchange. We began with a study visit around Vatra Dornei, diving into the local culture and exploring the region’s businesses.

Our first stop was "Țara Dornelor" an organization that supports the area by promoting its unique attractions and small businesses. They shared a fascinating presentation about their work and the hidden gems of the region.

Next, we visited the Aqua Carpatica factory, where we learned about the process behind their renowned mineral water. From there, we explored the Etnogeografic Museum, where traditional wood sculpting techniques were on display. It was incredible to see the skill and dedication involved in this handmade craft.

Our journey continued to "Păstrăvăria lui Andrei" a fish farm that gave us a glimpse into the workings of their business. We even had the chance to enjoy a delicious traditional fish meal. The final stop of the day was the "Ce Ar Fi Să" beer factory, where we sampled their impressive range of beers.

In the evening, we celebrated the cultures of Bulgaria, Spain and Italy during a cultural night. Each team shared their traditions, music and food, creating an atmosphere of joy and connection.

The day was a perfect blend of learning and exploration leaving us with lasting memories and a deeper appreciation for the region and each other’s cultures.

Our third day of NextGen: YouthPreneurs youth exchange

We started the day full of energy and enthusiasm, ready to engage in new learning experiences. The morning sessions were all about entrepreneurship, where we explored innovative practices, business ideas, and useful tools to help young people turn their dreams into reality. It was inspiring to see how creativity and teamwork could bring ideas to life.

After a well-deserved break, we shifted our focus to national teams. Each group worked hard to prepare and present insightful overviews of entrepreneurial trends, challenges, and opportunities in their home countries. These presentations sparked meaningful discussions and gave us all a better understanding of the different contexts we come from, strengthening the spirit of collaboration in our group.

Later, we gathered for a reflection session. It was a valuable moment to share our thoughts and takeaways from the day’s activities. Through open conversations, we not only deepened our understanding of the topics but also strengthened our connections as a team. Meanwhile, the group leaders met to align on plans and ensure the smooth running of the program, showing how much thought goes into creating a great experience for everyone.

The evening brought a fun and relaxed vibe with a cozy pajama party. We spent time playing games, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company. The day ended with group photos, capturing the joy and memories we’ve created together.

Our second day of NextGen: YouthPreneurs youth exchange

By 10:00 AM, everyone was ready to dive into the first session, thanks to the fantastic work of the Cool Bears team—Will, Jan, Bia, Fatıma, Tomas, Ane, and Gökhan. Their energy set the perfect tone for the day! 

The session began with some incredible energizers led by Andrea 🇮🇹, who taught us how to mix a perfect cocktail. We followed up with fun icebreakers, including a special bingo game, which helped us get to know each other better. 

We also established some house rules to keep things running smoothly: lion by moon, lion by sun; Bora, Bora; Tornado; Jazz hands; Marco Polo; clean after yourself; be on time; respect each other; and phones on mute. These simple guidelines set the stage for a positive and productive experience.

Before lunch, we dove into the world of Erasmus+ and explored the value of Youthpass. These discussions reminded us why we're here: to grow, learn, and make a difference together.

The afternoon was all about connecting through our passions. Each participant presented their NGO, sharing inspiring stories and initiatives from their home countries. This was a truly exciting activity that brought everyone closer and sparked many ideas for future collaborations. 

At the end of the sessions, we gathered for a reflection session. It was a great moment for everyone to share their thoughts, reflect on the activities, and give feedback. Meanwhile, the team leaders had a meeting to evaluate the day and plan the next steps, making sure everything was on track.

In the evening, we enjoyed a cultural night featuring Romania and Portugal. Both teams prepared special moments filled with music, dance, and traditional food, giving everyone an authentic and unforgettable experience.

Our first day of NextGen: YouthPreneurs youth exchange

Innovation begins with a single idea, and we’re here to turn those ideas into reality through entrepreneurship! Our journey began with a day full of excitement as we gathered to meet new faces and start building a community of like-minded individuals. The energy in the room was contagious, setting the tone for a memorable and productive experience.

The day kicked off with fun, non-formal activities designed to help us break the ice and get to know each other better. Through lively conversations, games, and plenty of laughter, we quickly discovered the unique stories and talents each participant brought to the table. By sharing our hopes and dreams, we found common ground and formed a strong, supportive team, united by our shared goals of learning, growing, and creating together.

As the day unfolded, our connections deepened, laying the foundation for collaboration and innovation. But the day didn’t end there! In the evening, we held a leaders’ meeting to reflect on the day’s events, exchanging feedback and discussing ways to enhance the experience even further. This meeting was an essential step in ensuring that everyone felt heard and that our activities met the group’s needs.

The highlight of the evening was our social time, where the atmosphere became even more relaxed and joyful. Participants gathered for board games, filling the room with friendly competition and laughter. Meanwhile, others picked up a guitar and led us in a singalong, creating moments of harmony and fun. These activities helped us unwind, further strengthening the bonds we had formed throughout the day.

Our first day was more than just an introduction; it was the beginning of a journey fueled by connection, creativity, and a shared passion for entrepreneurship. We can’t wait to see what the next days bring as we continue to turn our dreams into reality together!

Launch of the „NextGen: YouthPreneurs” Activity – Youth Exchange for Entrepreneurial Spirit Development

Vatra Dornei, Romania, November 14-24, 2024

We are excited to announce the launch of the „NextGen: YouthPreneurs” activity, an international mobility organized under the Erasmus+ program, which will take place in Vatra Dornei, Romania, from November 14-24, 2024. Over 9 days, 53 young people and group leaders from 8 European countries will participate in this youth exchange, which aims to inspire and develop an entrepreneurial mindset, providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to build their own businesses and contribute to addressing youth unemployment.

The learning objectives of this youth exchange are:

Encouraging young people to develop entrepreneurial activities by providing them with the necessary information to launch and grow new businesses (start-ups).

The activities will include experiential, non-formal learning methods and peer-to-peer learning, contributing to civic engagement and democratic participation.

Participants will have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with young people from different cultures, promoting solidarity, cooperation, and mutual understanding.

The exchange provides an open space for networking and interactions with experts in the field.

Participants will develop essential communication, relationship-building, and teamwork skills.

We encourage quality education for youth and entrepreneurship through mobility learning and international cooperation.

The activity will provide information about Erasmus+ and Youthpass as useful tools for youth education and mobility activities.
