Dissemination of NextGen: EmployAbility (Mladoevropani z.s., Czech Republic)

"The presentation I gave to my classmates was about an Erasmus+ project that I joined, called NEXTGEN: Employability. The goal of this project was to help young people improve their skills for finding a job. We focused on entrepreneurship—how to start projects, share ideas, and work better in teams. I met people from different countries and learned how to work in an international group. It was a great experience that helped me grow both professionally and personally.

In my presentation, I explained what Erasmus+ is: a programme funded by the European Union that supports education, training, youth, and sport across Europe. I described how students can apply for Erasmus+ projects, where to find suitable opportunities, and what steps to follow during the application process.

One of the most important things I learned was how useful these skills are when looking for a job. Today, employers are not only looking for education but also for soft skills like teamwork and flexibility. Erasmus+ gave me a chance to develop these in a fun and exciting way.

During the presentation, I also showed my classmates a question game that we created during the Erasmus+ project. The game focused on topics like entrepreneurship and employability. I invited them to play a few rounds, which made the presentation more interactive and fun. It was a nice way to share what we had worked on and to involve the audience in the experience.

My classmates were interested and asked many questions. Some of them said they would like to apply for Erasmus+ too. I was happy to inspire them. I believe this experience is a great way to grow, learn, and meet new people.

Presenting the Erasmus+ project to my classmates was a meaningful experience. It allowed me to reflect on everything I had learned during the mobility and to share those insights with others. I realised how important international projects like Erasmus+ are for young people’s personal and professional growth. They offer not only new knowledge, but also practical skills such as communication, teamwork, and adaptability. Sharing my experience helped raise awareness about these opportunities and encouraged my classmates to consider participating in similar projects in the future.

The presentation gave me a chance to show how learning can be engaging and interactive. By including the question game we created during the Erasmus+ project, I was able to involve my classmates directly in the experience. Their positive reaction showed me that this kind of activity is a great way to connect with others and explain ideas in a fun and effective way. They also asked many questions related to the topic and we discussed about it.

The content of my presentation included information about Erasmus+, the goals of the NEXTGEN: Employability project, photos from the mobility, and a question-based activity created by participants. I also used personal notes and official materials from the Erasmus+ programme to support the information I shared.

I also had the opportunity to share information about Erasmus+ with students from another class, who were sent to speak with me. Since I have already participated in Erasmus+ projects several times, I was able to answer their questions and give them useful advice. I explained the application process, what to expect during the mobility, and how to prepare. It was nice to see their interest, and I was happy to support them with my experience." - Lenka

"Recently, I had the opportunity to give a presentation about my involvement in an Erasmus+ project called NextGen: EmployAbility. I chose a rather informal setting to do this — our friend group had organized a party to celebrate the end of the school year, and I thought it would be a great chance to share my experience and raise awareness about Erasmus+ among my peers.

I started my presentation by introducing Erasmus+ in general terms, explaining that it's a European Union programme that supports education, training, youth, and sport. I highlighted how Erasmus+ provides young people with opportunities to study, train, gain experience, and volunteer abroad. Many people are familiar with Erasmus+ in the context of university exchanges, but I emphasized that the programme also includes training projects and youth exchanges like the one I participated in.

Then, I shifted focus to the specific project I was involved in — NextGen: EmployAbility. I gave an overview of the project’s objectives, which are centered around improving youth employability and equipping young people with the skills they need to succeed in today’s job market. I briefly described some of the challenges young people face when entering the workforce, such as lack of experience, soft skills, and access to guidance.

To make the presentation more interactive, I included a short quiz based on the key insights I gained during the project. This helped keep everyone engaged and also tested how much they already knew about employability issues and the Erasmus+ programme.

Finally, I talked about my personal journey — how I found out about the project, why I decided to join, and what the application process was like. I also encouraged my friends to look into similar opportunities, explaining where they could find information about Erasmus+ projects and how they could get involved themselves. Many of them seemed genuinely interested in participating in the future.

In conclusion, I believe the presentation was a success. Although there were a few areas where I could have improved — particularly on the technical side, the place we had was limited and the only white wall where everyone could see was narrow — the overall response from my friends was very positive. I was pleasantly surprised by how interested and engaged they were throughout the entire presentation. Some of them had never even heard of Erasmus+ before, so seeing their curiosity grow as I shared my experiences was really rewarding.

What made the biggest difference, I think, was the personal approach I took. By sharing my own journey and showing real photos from the project, it helped make the experience feel more relatable and authentic. After the presentation officially ended, we continued talking about Erasmus+ projects for quite some time. My friends asked a lot of questions — about how they could find similar opportunities, what the selection process was like, and what kind of experiences they might expect.

For the materials, I drew directly from what I learned during the NextGen: EmployAbility project. I included key facts and statistics, some reflections from the workshops we participated in, and visuals to make it more engaging. The photos we took during the project helped to tell the story and show what the experience was really like. I also used the logos of the partner organizations involved in the project, which gave the presentation a more official and polished look." - Tomas

All the offline disseminations were made with the sending NGO support.

"As the summer was about to start, so was this youth exchange that took place in beautiful Romanian city of Vatra Dornei, which was happening from 2. 6. 2025 to 12. 6. 2025. Topic of the project was Employability and the main aim was to provide participants with essential tools and skills how to find own suitable place on labor market.

We’ve been given informations how to create CV or how to prepare ourselves for interview, we have talked about our previous experiences and our future visions as well as about opportunities which are there available for us. We were also compering employment situations in our countries.

All of this and much more has been discussed via lots of different activities and approaches in order to share as much as possible.

We believe this youth exchanges was very beneficial and will help everyone to find their dream job.

Big gratitude to our hosting @initiative.sociale and sending @mladoevropani organisations for this great chance to take part in this mobility!" - Michael Jemelka
